About and corrections

The Crime Filter is a guide to true crime podcasts for people who love the genre but not every topic in it. You can filter shows by tone, format and length, and hide the topics you cannot listen to. The site then hides every episode that covers them.

Independent

We are not connected to any podcast, network or app. There are no ads, no tracking and no paid placements. Show information comes from each show’s public feed, and every tag follows the written rules on How we tag.

Report a mistake

A missing warning, a wrong tag or an outdated fact: please tell us. Email [email protected] with:

• the show and the episode,
• what is wrong,
• and, if you can, where in the episode it comes up.

We check every report against our rules and fix confirmed mistakes. A missing warning has priority over everything else.

Cover art

Cover art belongs to the respective shows and is shown only to identify them. If you make a show and want your cover removed, or want a correction to your show’s page, email us and we will take care of it.

Want a show added?

Send us the show’s name or feed link. We add shows step by step, so it may take a while.
